To enhance energy reliability, Parkland County is exploring the potential of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) to provide low-carbon energy solutions. Essential to its success is public education to dispel myths surrounding nuclear energy. Parkland County and Strathcona County are host partners for the SMR Canada Summit - a conference from March 4 - 5, 2025.
